Recent music discoveries

I'm not saying it's as good as Loveless or anything, but I've been obsessed with Caribou lately, particularly The Milk of Human Kindness and the Yeti EP. Anyone have thoughts on Caribou or anything else you've heard lately that you've been particularly taken with?

i really like the previous Caribou album (from back when Caribou was called Manitoba) and have been waiting for someone to say something about The Milk of Human Kindness... mentioning it in the same sentence as Loveless is enough to make me chack it out asap, thanks.

Well, you know, nothing seems to ever be as good as Loveless, but I really liked the Caribou album, and it had a similar effect on me. Definitely something to it. I'll have to listen to the other Caribou/Manitoba albums

the milk of human kindness really surprised me...he's bettered up in flames and fuck,that was a nice album...the more four-four motorik moments on the new one really rock...and the track with the hip-hop shuffle but pretty melody...it's all good really !
i've got a list of things i've been playing on my stereo of late on my LJ...they are also all good :-)
